4. Construction - organising builders for tendering, selection of building contract, managing tender process, site inspections and administering the builoding contract.

How do Architects charge?

Architects may charge on an houly rate, fixed lump sum or as a percentage of the construction costs. The rate or hours will vary according to the projects size, degree of complexity and other special circumstances which may not be immediately apparent. Architects will usually submit a detailed proposal outlining their services for your project with a breakdown of their fees.
